Built in the early nineteenth
century, these fine city centre buildings have until fairly recently been
utilised by Newcastle Breweries to stable brewery horses. Whilst the premises
are not listed, these buildings are in a conservation area of the City and
are therefore of some historical and architectural
interest.
The premises, with a total rentable floor space of around 7,000 sq.ft have
been redeveloped around a central cobbled courtyard, providing a home to
19 offices/workshops. Refurbishment is to a high standard, each unit being
provided with a basic finish. Most workshops have their own water supply
and all units are equipped with individually metered electricity and telephone
line.
Management Services : Management services are available on site
and there are conference facilities as well, available for hire by the companies
based within the centre.
Location : St Thomas Street business centre is situated in Newcastle
City Centre, within close proximity to the Haymarket bus station and Metro,
Newcastle University and the RVI hospital. Because of this, the units are
most attractive to those businesses seeking a central location at a moderate
affordable cost.
All-inclusive : The fixed monthly licence fee includes rent,
business and water rates, gas central heating, security and fire safety,
building maintenance and repairs, general building insurance, waste disposal,
cleaning of common areas, reception with telephone answering and message
taking services, telephone line rental, basic kitchen and toilet facilities.
Typing, photocopying, fax services and a small meeting room are also available
at reasonable rates. |
